Intelligent Forecaster ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Traceflow Pty Ltd in South Africa, is committed to protecting your privacy. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

2. Role of Intelligent Forecaster

• Data Controller: For your account information (Name, Email, Billing Details), we act as the Data Controller.
• Data Processor: For the inventory and sales data you transmit to us via our API or Odoo module, we act as a Data Processor. You retain full ownership of this business data.

3. Information We Collect

• Account Information: We collect your email address and business details to manage your subscription.
• SaaS Usage Data: We collect anonymized telemetry on how our API is used (e.g., number of forecasts generated) for billing and optimization.
• Business Data: We process your historical sales data (Dates, Quantities, SKUs). This data is processed securely to generate forecasts and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Your Rights (POPIA & GDPR)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Location: Data is stored on secure servers. If we transfer data across borders, we ensure adequate protection mechanisms are in place.
• Encryption: All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+.
• Retention: We retain business data only as long as you are an active subscriber. Upon cancellation, data is deleted after a grace period.
